TorahScope is a reflection on the weekly parashah written by OIM director Mark Huey. It has been developed to offer a unique, Messianic perspective on life that is consistent with the foundational writings of the Torah, also commonly known as the Pentateuch.

The Jewish community has developed the consistent pattern of reading a section of the Torah (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy) each week throughout the year. This is a discipline that most in the Messianic community have adopted as well. TorahScope takes these weekly readings, and considers their relevance for human living today.

The "scope" of TorahScope indicates the level, detail, or perspective of observing and analyzing life―whether through the telescopic lens of the world, persiscopic lens of the underworld, or a microscopic lens that will peer into the heart and soul of individuals. When you put "TorahScope" together, you find a grid or lens that can be very useful in discerning life and the answers that many of us seek from God.
